Consumer/Lemon Law
Oftentimes, the rights of consumers are disregarded or trivialized by the very same people—including retailers, service providers, and manufacturers—that have been entrusted to uphold them. At the Law Offices of Roger E. Naghash, it has been a long-standing tradition and practice to provide responsive legal services to our consumer clients. Protecting the consumers’ rights is your right and our duty.
Our consumer law attorneys are experienced in handling, advising, and litigating all areas of consumer law, including the areas of lemon law, product liability, identity theft, wrongful credit reporting problems, and other consumer-related matters. If your rights as a consumer have been violated, one of our consumer law attorneys can help you obtain the remedies that you deserve.
Lemon Laws: If you have purchased or leased a defective appliance, vehicle, boat, RV, or other type of product that is under warranty and cannot be repaired, you may be entitled to a reimbursement or a product replacement under California and Federal “Lemon Laws.” The “Lemon Laws” also cover new as well as some used vehicles, consumer goods, and other products that have been purchased or leased and may be defective and irreparable.
Product Liability: Injury caused by defective or dangerous products can often lead to product liability action where a seller or manufacturer is held liable for placing the product or the consumer goods in the stream of commerce. If you have an injury that has been caused by a defective product or consumer good, one of our product liability attorneys can process your claim on your behalf. As a matter of public policy and the rule of law, manufacturers and sellers are generally responsible for their products’ safety, including the propensity to cause injury or death.
Identity Theft: It is a felony crime in California for anyone to misuse, misappropriate, or steal another person’s identity and private information. Oftentimes, stolen or private information is utilized to create a phantom life for someone that exists parallel to the person whose identity or private information has been stolen. If someone has taken your identification information to obtain services, credit information, employment, bank accounts, or goods without your authorization, you may have been a victim of an identity theft crime. Failure to resolve or remedy this situation in a timely matter may result in further erosion of your personal identity and legal rights.
Credit Fraud: If your credit information or credit card has been used to purchase or acquire services without your consent, you may be a victim of a credit fraud crime. Unlawful use of your credit card can further harm your legal rights and credit worthiness if the perpetrator has used the card above and beyond the predesignated credit limit that the card issuer has set forth for you. There are legal actions that must be taken to ensure that your legal rights are preserved and all perpetrators are held accountable.

Naghash, we have helped many consumers obtain compensation for faulty or defective products, as well as remedies for the theft or credit crimes that have been committed against them.
